In early 2010, just before beginning my fourth year of Veterinary Science, I spent four weeks on the beautiful island of Rarotonga volunteering at the Esther Honey Foundation. It was quiet the adventure and my story includes getting lost, bitten by fish, being the 'only vet on the island' and a few crazy Island Nights!
